Upgrading to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM)

Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager Version 7.0 features (UCM70) v1.0 is designed to provide learners with necessary knowledge and skills to install and upgrade Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 7 and to implement the new features introduced with this new release in large, multisite Cisco Unified Communications Manager deployments.

Course Objectives
· Describe update and installation options of Cisco Unified Communications Manager v7.0
· List and implement new features of Cisco Unified Communications Manager v7.0



Prerequisites
The knowledge and skills that a learner must have before attending this course are as follows:
· Completion of CIPT1 v6.0 and CIPT2 v6.0 or equivalent knowledge
· Working knowledge of converged voice and data networks.
· Working knowledge of Cisco IOS gateways.
· Ability to configure and operate Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco IOS gateways in a multisite environment

Very good understanding of multisite dial plans, including the following components:
· SRST and CFUR
· AAR
· Line / device CSS approach
· Device mobility
· TEHO
· Basic knowledge about Cisco Unified Mobility
