We are an independent educational charity. Our aim is to help people understand how buildings work and how to maintain and improve them. We put a strong emphasis on practical training, with a variety of learning styles and lots of opportunities for informal learning.

Description

Upkeep is a small charity that promotes good practice in building care. We teach people how to look after buildings, and provide short courses on all aspects of building care: inspection, repairs, maintenance and improvement. Our training courses cover how buildings are constructed, how buildings work, key components, common defects and how to put them right. We look at best practice in building construction, maintenance and refurbishment.
