Would you like to learn more about alternative therapies for women? Reflexology is the ancient and holistic practice of applying pressure to certain points in the body. Applying this pressure is said to relieve ailments in other parts of the body. The tradition originally hails from the East and came to the Western Hemisphere around 1890. It was put into general practice around the 1930's and is now a practice available in many Western cities.
Reflexology continues to grow in popularity in these current times of stress and worry. Up to 90% of clients are female and therefore reflexologists find themselves presented with a number of issues with regard to the natural cycles of a woman’s life.
Qualified reflexologists know how beneficial this treatment is with regard to restoring balance on a physical and psychological level.
Some clients will progress from one stage to the next without any concerns; however there are those that suffer at all the stages or some of them. Participants in this course will learn techniques for making their clients comfortable.
