Using Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System (Office 2003)

Introduction
This one-day instructor-led course providesstudents with the knowledge and skills to develop solutions using Microsoft VisualStudio® Tools for Office. This learning product assumes that the .NET developerhas an awareness of the Office application object models.

Audience
This course is intended for existing Visual Studio.NET application developers with Office development experience. A secondaryaudience consists of existing .NET solution developers.

Use Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System.

Develop Visual Studio Tools for Office solutions for Word 2003.

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have:

Experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development environment.

Experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 or 1.1.

Experience using either Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET or Microsoft Visual C#® .NET.

Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

Some awareness of the Word and Excel object models.
