The Programme
This course is run over four days a week allowing students to secure a placement for work expereince on the fifth day. It is a combination of theory and practical covering both subject areas of Body repair and Refinishing.
The Programme Content
This course covers the fundamentals of vehicle body repair and refinishing. It allows the students to develop skills in vehicle body repair such as panel fitting and welding, and the removal and replacement of panels. It also covers vehicle paint applications and the preparation of panels and is carried out in a modern and realistic workshop.
Progression / Careers
Students who complete the course can enter the industry as a semi skilled technician in an apprenticeship, depending on skill level and a secured work placement. Alternatively you could continue onto a Level 2 course.
