Cost
A pair of overalls and steel toe caps boots will be required. Dust mask will also be required at a cost of 50, this will be for hygiene reasons. There will also be an opportunity to attend two motor vehicle related shows at a cost of 35 each, employers permission required.

The Programme
This course is designed to further the knowledge covered in Level 1. The course now covers removal of structural panels, paint defects, glass fibre and the different material and paint finishes associated with modern vehicle technology.
The Programme Content
The course is split up into units and is assessed by a practical assessment and theory related question papers.
Each qualification is made up from six units.

Progression / Careers
Students who complete the course can enter the industry as a semi skilled technician on a three year apprenticeship, depending on work placement and skill level.
