• C&G 4101 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 1
• A range of GCSEs at D-C including English and preferably Maths or equivalent
• Entry is subject to a successful interview.

Content
You will study a range of topics through both theory and practical work including Health and Safety, Vehicle System Skills, Engines, use of Tools and Equipment, Vehicle Maintenance, Braking Systems, Ignition Systems, Fuel Systems, Exhausts and Catalytic Converters, Steering Systems, Electrical / Electronic Systems, Suspension Systems Transmission Systems

Key Skills and the OCNW Level 2 Certificate in Health and Safety will form part of your final qualifications if not already undertaken at Level 1.

Progression
This course represents the first year of a full craft apprenticeship, leading to possible employment with further day release training to complete a full apprenticeship.
