Why study the Bachelor of Veterinary Technology (Honours)This program will comprise an honours year tailored to Veterinary Technology graduates, and follows the introduction of the Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from 2016. It provides advanced training in clinical, regulatory, diagnostic or other para-professional streams applicable to veterinary technologists, as well as training in research. The advanced clinical training will involve working in either the University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital or an approved, external placement.Students will undertake advanced professional training under the guidance of a supervisor, graduating with advanced skills and knowledge and enhanced employment opportunities. The program is also suitable for veterinary technologists preparing for specialist veterinary technology examinations with the American College of Veterinary Technologists.
