Vine Software have been administering UNIX & Linux computer systems and writing software for them since 1994 from Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. We can install and configure your whole system, or just one part of it: such as the web or mail server. We are equally adept at administering and configuring existing sites. Usually we can administer sites remotely often working with a company's existing System Administrator. Although we do specialise in Unix and Linux sites in the real world this often means mixed Linux / Windows sites. We have even been known to work on Windows-only sites! There are also training courses available for those who want to learn how to administer the systems themselves.Vine Software also write programs. This is mainly the programming of web sites in PHP or perl; although we also write stand-alone programs, often doing one part of it as a member of a larger team.
