Prepare for the creation for a period/vintage hair design, either live models or wigs.

Design hair styles suitable for a period/vintage look after understanding how to research suitable styles.

Understand head & face shapes, hair classification, growth patterns, hair length, haircut, elasticity, hair texture,

Prepare the subject/model/wig in readiness to create the hair design.

Be able create a period/vintage hair design.

Store and clean, tools & equipment, i.e. electrical, combs, brushes, hair products and consumables, i.e, grips and pins, wigs, hair pieces, toupee's padding, ornamentation etc.

Understand the necessity to maintain records in the industry.

Anyone who works in the Performing Arts industry or the Hairdressing industry.

Hairdressing background is desirable but not essential.

Academy Certificate.

Only one learner is enrolled on this course and will have one to one training to ensure the learner has full training throughout the 4 days.
