In Visio Level 1, delegates used the various templates to design and manage workflows and flowcharts. This course will build upon the knowledge gained, and enable delegates to work with many advanced features, including using the drawing tools, creating and working with custom stencils and templates, and sharing Visio drawings with other applications.

About this course

We recommend that delegates have completed the Visio Level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge, and are at ease using a Windows based PC. Previous use of a keyboard and mouse is essential for this course.

Course Overview

In Visio Level 1, delegates used the various templates to design and manage workflows and flowcharts. This course will build upon the knowledge gained, and enable delegates to work with many advanced features, including using the drawing tools, creating and working with custom stencils and templates, and sharing Visio drawings with other applications.
Prerequisites
  • We recommend that delegates have completed the Visio Level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge, and are at ease using a Windows based PC.
  • Previous use of a keyboard and mouse is essential for this course.


Objectives


    Delegates will be able to :
  • Create a flowchart that displays a company procedure, this chart will contain bands to show a 3rd dimension.
  • Create your own custom shapes and save them to your own stencil
  • Create a drawing showing your office layout, Add at least 2 layers to show how you office could be rearranged
  • Create an organisation chart to display your department structure, convert the drawing so it can be viewed in a web browser
