The Visual Arts Club offers young people the opportunity to engage with a wide range of art and design experiences to enhance and build on their existing skills.
The Gold Arts Award is a Level 3 qualification open to young people aged 14 to 25. The award has 16 points on the UCAS tariff.
The Visual Arts Club will culminate in a public exhibition of learners work and provide opportunities for the young people to engage with the wider arts community.

Course programme

Using traditional and contemporary practices, learners will produce exciting outcomes to support their current and future studies in art and design.

Learners will extend their own arts practice through a range of workshops including traditional and digital print making, drawing, painting, textiles, 3D, digital image manipulation, laser cutting and photography.
