Vital Signs

After successful completion of this study day, the candidates will have the knowledge and skills to perform accurate vital sign measures under the initial supervision of a competent practitioner

This study day will be suitable for all health care staff, both qualified and unqualified who are required to perform blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respirations readings on patients.

■ The candidate will be able to understand and interpret vital signs readings

■ Candidates will be able to recognise normal and abnormal readings and potential reasons

■ Candidates will be able to correctly perform the measurements and record them as appropriate
