A minimum of 4 GCSEs at C or above including Maths, English and preferably Science or equivalent OR
A BTEC First Diploma in Engineering with a satisfactory reference and equivalent Maths, English and preferably Science OR
A relevant Level 2 qualification with equivalent Maths, English and preferably Science.

Key Skills and the OCNQ Level 2 Certificate in the Health and Safety will form part of your final qualifications.
During year two of the course you will study a further five modules including Further Electrical Principles, Three-Phase Systems, Further Mathematics and Business Systems and Project.
Assessment
Your work will be assessed on a continual basis through a range of written assignments.
Progression
This course will prepare you for employment at technical/skilled status or for advanced study such as HNC Engineering.
