Content
During year one of the course you will study six modules including; Electrical and Electronic Principles, Mathematics, Electrical Applications, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Applications of Programmable Logic Controllers, and Communications.

You will also be given the opportunity to include study leading to the City and Guilds Electronics Progression Award and AutoCAD qualifications.

Key Skills and the OCNQ Level 2 Certificate in the Health and Safety will form part of your final qualifications.

During year two of the course you will study a further five modules including Further Electrical Principles, Three-Phase Systems, Further Mathematics and Business Systems and Project.

Assessment
Your work will be assessed on a continual basis through a range of written assignments.

Progression
This course will prepare you for employment at technical/skilled status or for advanced study such as HNC Engineering.
