VTCT Level 3 Swedish Massage
This course is a comprehensive academic and practical study of Swedish massage and the Anatomy and Physiology of the human body. On completion of this course successful students will be awarded a professional certificate and advice on obtaining insurance in order to perform this therapy on paying clients. Swedish massage is a very good starting point for candidates wishing to qualify in further therapies.

This course is offered as:

• A fast track course, which is 5 days, assessments and final exam to suit you, once course work is complete.
• An evening course allowing students to study 1 evenings a week followed by a final exam.
• 1 day a week

Entry requirements An Introduction certificate in Swedish massage or similar
Your course includes:

• The history of Swedish massage including the academic and practical study of the benefits and effects of this therapy
• Health, safety and Hygiene
• Anatomy and physiology
• Contraindications to a therapy
• Preparation of the work area consultation, record keeping and medical referral
• Full body Swedish body massage routine
• The course includes the study of after care of your clients
• A full course folder is included in this course to refer to as you practice this massage and undertake your case studies as part of your assessed course work.
• You will receive a professional certificate that will allow you to acquire insurance and perform this therapy on paying clients.
