Course Aim

To give participants an awareness of the issues around vulnerable adults and to develop an understanding of their role and responsibilities in relation to it.

Outline Content

  • Recognise who is a vulnerable adult and to describe types of abuse and ways of recognising them;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of your role and responsibilities in working with vulnerable adults.

Staff are expected to attend for the duration of the training. Those who do not complete the full course will not be issued with a certificate.
