Entry Requirements: The Apprenticeship programme would suit Warehouse Operatives within the supply chain operation and is specifically designed for those who are involved in the movement and storage of goods. On-site assessment within the work place using a variety of methods such as observation, oral and written questioning, witness testimony and work product is required. Qualifications taken via day release will include online multiple choice tests.

Course Description:
The Apprenticeship is a work based training programme which allows you to complement the skills and knowledge learned, developed and used within the workplace with a recognised qualification.

Description Breakdown:
The programme combines a competence-based qualification completed within the workplace, with knowledge-based qualifications gained via day release at the Retail Skills Centre Leicester. The Warehousing and Storage Apprenticeship comprises of the following elements:-
1. Warehousing and Storage NVQ level 2
2. Certificate in Warehousing and Storage Principles level 2
3. Literacy and numeracy level 1 (exemptions may apply for this element)

Those undertaking the Apprenticeship will complete all elements of the programme as outlined above, and will study employment rights and responsibilities.
