Warehousing and Storage Apprenticeship (Level 2)

What type of work will I do and what qualifications will I gain?

Although apprenticeships will vary depending on your entry level and your employer, you will gain a range of skills from the varying tasks you complete, these could include:

• Taking goods in, logging, receiving and checking against purchase orders
• Stock taking and performing routine stock checks
• Inputting details of orders to be shipped
• Receiving goods inwards, updating stock records and maintaining stock levels
• Keeping a warehouse clean and tidy and maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Dealing with returns
• Adhering to health and safety requirements
• Picking, packing and dispatching the day's orders to meet deadline

You will also gain the following qualifications:

• Competence and Knowledge Qualification - Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage (Edexcel)
• Employee Rights and Responsibilities
• Level 1 Functional Skills Maths (NCFE)
• Level 1 Functional Skills English (NCFE)
