This course is ideal if you are working in the Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Industry and need to get a qualification. To enrol on this course you will need a Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning City & Guilds: Technical Certificate and be employed in the industry.

What will I study?
This course is designed to provide you with support and guidance to complete the portfolio required for the NVQ award. Following an informal interview you will be enrolled and registered for the NVQ award. You will then need to complete your portfolio and meet the standards set by the lead body, City & Guilds. The course is delivered based on group tutorials and you will need to complete a minimum of 2 work-based assessments. If you are not employed in the industry you will need to complete the Technical Certificate which helps with gaining employment to enable you to complete the NVQ 2 qualification.

What can I do after this course?
On successful completion of this course you could progress onto the NVQ 3: Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning or BTEC National Certificate: Building Services Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning.
