The focus of the course is the development of skills and certification that will give you an advantage in the jobs market. To achieve this you will be working both in College and on a meaningful work placement to achieve key employability, customer service and core skills units.

You will develop skills for employment and be able to put them into practice during a work placement in a working environment. Placements are linked to local labour opportunities depending on your area of interest.

With a vibrant, modern and innovative learning environment, the College is well equipped to ensure that students have the best facilities and resources to help develop their learning and skills. The College is an essential provider of a vast range of courses all focused on developing relevant skills for employment and to enhance current career prospects for those who are already working. For 2016-17 it was established that 86% of HN graduates at the College progressed into employment or further study.
