Web commercialisation means an increased demand for skilled web developers.
Our course is for you if you don’t have experience of computer programming as you’ll gain key skills in web development.
You’ll learn about the fundamentals of web development – from authoring interactive websites using technologies such as HTML5 and CSS through to the implementation of fully functional, client-server web applications such as a blogging platform or messaging service.
Visas and immigration
This part-time course is not open to students who need a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK as the University only sponsors Tier 4 students to study on full-time courses.

About this course
On graduation, you’ll have the knowledge and skills for work in web-development positions in a variety of organisations and businesses. You’ll be prepared for roles that require an understanding of:
the tools and platforms used in web development
the different technologies required for developing modern web applications and services.
Graduate destinations
Recent School of Engineering and Informatics graduates have gone on to jobs including:

You should normally have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above.

Course programme
