Who is this course for? People with some computer skills and experience, and a genuine interest in web design.
What do I need to get on the course? Some previous computing experience.
What will I study? A ten week intermediate course giving learners a more detailed look at Dreamweaver, Photoshop and design for the web.
It begins by re-capping on the main web creation processes using tables with the following functions: Meta tags, Pop-up windows, Flash text, Hyperlinks, Named Anchors and templates, then onto using Photoshop for the web, including: colour & tonal correction, image re-sizing, cropping, layering, layer styles, creating banners and navigation bars. The students then combine these skills by creating a website which includes an image gallery, a video and forms. The final part of the course culminates in an assignment and final project, where learners have the option to build/develop their own websites., , ,
