Weekend Spanish

Course review:

Learn Spanish in Spain. Immerse yourself in the Spanish language over a Weekend by staying with Esther, your host and tutur. (you can get a sneek preview by visiting the the BBC Spanish online course Mi Vida Loca, where you can see Esther and some of her Spanish Students in Medina de Rioseco).

By staying with your tutor and a maximum of 4 other students, you will be actively encouraged to speak Spanish at all times, that is, from the moment you get up to have breakfast until you go to bed after an eventful day.

The course price includes: 5.5 hours Spanish lessons (including Spanish and cinema workshops) all course material; 3 x Breakfasts, 2 x Lunches, 1x Dinner (tapas). Complimentary Coffee, Tea and water; private transfer between Valladolid Airport and Medina de Rioseco.

Itinerary:

On the day you arrive you will have a guided tour around Medina de Rioseco followed by lunch and some free time (Siesta time). In the late afternoon you begin with the first 2 hours of Spanish activities (Spanish workshop). Evining free. On Sunday after breakfast we spent the day in Valladolid, visiting historic places (included in course price), where you have time for lunch (not included). In the evening after dinner (included in course price) we have a Spanish cincema workshop. On Monday, after breakfast, we will vistit some historice buildings in Medina de Rioseco (entrance fees included), have a walk in the surrounding area (Tierra de Campos) followed by lunch in a local restaurant (included in course price). In the evening we have another 2 hour Spanish workshop. Evening free. On Tuesday after breakfast transfer to the airport or to an hotel in Valladolid if you like to prolong your stay - from Valladolid you can visit the UNESCO university city of Salamance or take the hight speed train to Madird (50 mins) or Segovia (20mins).

Your host, Esther, will be available throughout your stay and is happy to suggest activities during your free time. Medina de Rioseco also has a small sports centre, with an indoor pool. During summer months there is an outdoor pool. Also, next to the canal (2 minutes walk from your accommodation) you can rent bicycles and canoes to cicly or row along the canal de Castile.
