The Welding Academy is fully approved by the TWI (The Welding Institute) to deliver City and Guilds and coding qualifications. All tutors, examiners, and inspectors hold the relevant CSWIP qualifications, allowing us to conduct welder qualification testing at our sites.

Welder training is an individualised built around each candidate. To understand your level and to get the best from the programme you will undertake a welding skills analysis. This is a one-hour practical session which takes place in our workshop.

The Welding Academy is offering welding and fabrication courses at all levels and disciplines. The programmes will be completed over a number of weekends to fit around your work schedule. The courses will take place on the first weekend of every month starting 02/11/2019. We also will be running level 2 and 3 NVQ in Fabrication and Welding Engineering courses that are delivered flexibly over a 2-24month period. The Welding Academy supports the training of welders and fabricators to recognised occupational standards.

About this course

The weekend welding sessions are for all comers that want to try welding, develop their skills or to be coded. The sessions are for people who can not attend during the week. All programmes are delivered from leisure welding to City and Guilds programmes and Coding.
