Welcome All is one a one-day disability awareness training programme.
How is it assessed?
Nationally recognised customer care programme in the tourism industry. Pre and Post courses exercises included.
Welcome All enables participants to:
- Welcome customers with specific needs and communicate effectively with them
-
Adopt a positive approach to meeting these needs and expectations

Identify their responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act

Identify the needs and expectations of customers with a disability
-
Recognise the benefits of providing excellent service to customer with a disability
-
Identify ways in which they can improve accessibility and service for customers and colleauges with disabilities in their own workplace.
What does the candidate receive on successful completion?
Participants receive a workbook for use during the training programme and for future reference. This contains examples of good practice from all sectors of the tourism industry, as well as signposts to sources of further information and advice. The course also includes practical and interactive exercises and a video. A nationally recognised certificate and badge is awarded to delegates on completion of the course.
