Introduction
- This one-day Employee Relations and the Law course offers candidates with an introduction to the law around employee relations, the inter-relationship between collective and individual law including information and consultation agreements, summary of TU law and the institutions that have a role in the regulation of employee relations.
- This course will enable candidates to advise on the law relating to industrial action and understand the key stages in union recognition.
- Candidates will learn about the process of collective bargaining in negotiating employment terms and conditions, and evaluate ongoing developments regarding information, consultation and employee and trade union involvement in organisations.

- Some prior knowledge of employee relations will be beneficial.
