Wild Game Meat Hygiene
In line with European Union directive, legislation came into effect on 1 Jan 2006 that requires anyone supplying game meat to a game dealer, to be a 'trained hunter'.

By the end of this one-day course you should be able to:
  • Understand the specific legislative requirements of a 'trained hunter'.
  • Know and understand the hygiene and potential for disease in game animals.
  • Understand how inappropriate handling of a carcass can impact adversely on human health and the measures to minimise risk.
