Max
About the course:
I am Max a 4th year student of Global Project and Change Management (Sustainable Business and Innovations). In internship, the aim of my company was to make local and healthy fast food. Since, I worked independently, meeting lots of people and in a multinational envrionment all these factors helped me become a better Project Change Manager. I had a lot of freedom during my internship and worked single handedly on my project. I use to meet my boss once a week and we use to decide progress and responsiblities. I made good connections and their trust and independence encouraged me immensely. I also joined Arthur for meetings and pitches. I would suggest from my experience that students should make good connections work with people along with their studies. You must know people in your circle and that truly helps build connections. By doing so, you'll meet people and learn valuable skills and lessons that no classrooom can teach. My experience was wonderful and I expect the same for you. I would recommend this place for all and thanks for everything.

About the course:
International Business programme is a broad study, I liked the combination of subjects and languages. Export was the main theme along with other subjects like Economics, international marketing, HRM, financial management and international logistics, law and research. The program is broad in nature, and you get to learn so many things. I enjoyed my time learning new things and applying the same right away. I opted for an internship at the Chamber of Commerce in Málaga, but its your choice to go anywhere in the world. You also get the chance to study abroad in your internship. Like, I went to Hong Kong for a semester. It was truly a great experience, I chose to specialise more on Asian market. While, other friends of mine opted for places like France, Germany, America and many other countries. Expriences like these broadens your intercultural skills. I've met people all across the globe and that's the best part. The sum of all these experiences makes you a true professional. I had a good experience and find everyone approachable at Windesheim.

About the course:
I was interested in non-profit and development and the recruiter suggested Windesheim perfect for me. I was attracted to the program and during my gap year, I find out what I want. I travelled for around 11 months. I taught English in Vietnam, Laos, Combodia, also did a voluntary work in New Zealand, due to my work, I've travelled extensively and recommend the same to all. My experience was amazing and I am glad to be a part of this association.

About the course:
Coming to Windesheim, I want to bring a fundamental change world needs. I wanted to work on something that doesn't harm anybody in any manner but also has a focus on solving the underlying problem. In past four years, I've learned a lot and changed a lot in myself and enhanced my skill set. Good experience above all. I am sure their is a place where change can happen and I can do my bit.

About the course:
Joining Windesheim programme Managing Projects in a Globalized World (part of the bachelor’s Global Project and Change Management made my experience so enriching. It was one of the best decisions of my life. I learned a lot not only from interviews with locals but also from the Windesheim community in Netherlands. Working here was so inspiring every day and in such an inclusive environment. My outlook through life has changed. If you also wish to become a part of such community and passion drives you for creating change then this could be the place for you. I enjoyed my time completely and would recommend the same to you.

About the course:
They are always up for helping their students. The campus of Windesheim is amazing and so is the city Zwolle. Class size is small and you can easily interact with the lecturers and other students. They don't micro manage you and that offer sense of relief their is freedom for you but you should know how and when to use it. Its a good place to be and overall I enjoyed my experience.

Annika
About the course:
I am Annika, a 3rd year student from Germany. I started this study to become a social entrepreneur. I am convinced that there needs to be a change in mindset when it comes to common business practices. A shift to an economy which takes the earth and its humans into account. At Windesheim Honours College I am acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to work towards this development. Next semester, I will do my elective in Helsinki, Finland. I am curious what I will learn there and am looking forward to exploring the country and meeting new people from all over the world.

About the course:
What I like about the lecturers here at Windesheim is that they are very engaging. They are very connected to you as a student and they know you by name. They want to help you succeed, they really care about your success.
We do a lot of project work, and that can be difficult sometimes. Getting everyone’s opinion, to coordinate, and planning with everyone is not always the easiest tasks. But at the same time: working in groups is necessary. I think it’s really good to do it while you are in school, because realistically, when you go into the business world, you are going to be working in groups all the time.
I would definitely recommend my friends to come to Windesheim. I think that going to a smaller city in Europe, instead of going to the main cities like Amsterdam or Berlin, gives you a very European experience. No one here is trying to be anything other than they already are, and I really like that. It’s a very genuine feel.

Laura
About the course:
I am Laura, 4th year student. During the 4 years that I have been studying at Windesheim, I have gained a lot of practical experience. Together with fellow students I have been working on 10 different projects for 10 different organisations, varying from one of the top-3 Dutch banks, a bike producer, a cookie factory and an amusement park. Working on real life problems or questions for real life companies, made the projects very meaningful for me: it was not just a fake assignment. And I learned how to use the theory in practice.
Besides the projects, we had a lot of guest lectures of different organisations, and company visits, to amongst others Scania (trucks) and Yakult (milk drink). And last but not least I did an internship during one semester at a company, and I’m currently doing my thesis within an organisation. I’m almost finished, and I really feel ready to enter the labour market. Windesheim offered me the right mixture of theory and practical experience in the past four years.

Nina
About the course:
I am Nina, 4th year student from Germany. At Windesheim I mostly developed myself on a personal level. I could shape my values and found new interests. I changed my future plans for after Windesheim multiple times. Now I know I would like to work in the food industry. I have a passion for baking and would like to work on new, more sustainable and fair trade business models for bakeries. In general people eat a lot of sweets. And as soon certain ingredients are used in pastries people don’t care about where the ingredients come from or how they were produced.

Ann-Cathrin
About the course:
Due to my great interest in human rights I was already able to work together on a project proposal, funded by Oxfam, that had the aim to educate Papua New Guinea’s population about the natural causes of HIV/AIDS.
Next to my interest in human rights and my idea to make this world a better place, I am interested in travelling and trying out many new things and ideas. As an example, I heard a lot about food waste, so I wanted to find out if it would be possible for me to survive a week on left-overs/food waste. This experiment turned out to last for more than four months, with me eating more healthily than ever possible as a student with a small budget.
I am very thankful for my study programme and if I could choose a study again I would choose mine. It helps me not only to develop important skills to change the world, but also to develop myself. At Windesheim Honours College we are like a big family and that is the best part of it.
