Would you like to be a joiner and learn how to create pieces such as doors, windows and stairs? Joinery is a skill and an art. It takes a lot of practice and patience to produce a high standard of work that can be used in today’s ever-growing construction industry. This Level 3 City and Guilds Bench Joinery course at City College Plymouth will ensure you’ll learn skills that can set you on your path to a career in the construction industry. You’ll be working with the latest technologies, using and setting up power tools.

About this course
Entry requirements
In order to be successful on this course, you will need to have achieved a level 2 qualification in construction and have produced a drawing for an Institute of Carpenters piece of work. If possible, you will need to have made the piece, but this is not essential.
