Word Processing - Level 3 Part-time

• Produce draft layouts for presenting different types of word processed data:
• Mail merge e.g. mail shots, labels and badges
• Create data source, use external data source for mail merge
• Edit existing documents, recording the changes made
• Using index and table of contents
• Save template in suitable locations and make them accessible to other users
• Inserting tables, symbols, bulleted lists •formulae/equations
• Insert and link embedded objects to provide automatic updating of data e.g. documents, a graph or chart, formula cells of a spreadsheet etc.
• Save documents in PDF format, and suitable for use as a web page
