To explain how to work with RAW files in terms of manipulating exposure, correcting white balance and applying sharpening and other alterations. All variants of RAW will be covered as will the use of the manufacturer's proprietary RAW conversion software (Canon & Nikon) as well as Adobe's Photoshop Elements 7 & CS3. Suitable for: Those who are either already shooting or want to shoot using the RAW recording mode or and wish to learn how to manipulate their images to obtain the maximum benefit offered by this recording format.

About this course
Required Equipment: No equipment is required as students will be using the facilities provided in our fully equipped training although you may however wish to bring your own RAW files for manipulation purposes
Skills Requirement: As this is a Level 2 course, it is assumed that those attending will have a basic knowledge of exposure and will be fairly proficient with using a computer (in terms of skills such as navigating to files, saving images, mouse and keyboard skills etc). Some previous / basic knowledge of using Photoshop be it Elements or CS would be advantageous.
