Don't get lost over the horizon! Do you make coastal/offshore passages by sail/motor, fish, dive, surf-board, canoe, jet-ski, windsurf, or have a general interest in the sea things nautical?
Are you interested in finding out more about navigation, GPS, meteorology, pilotage, collision avoidance rules, passage planning and general seamanship?
Do a professional yacht masters certificate with us. If you are involved with boats this course will improve your water safety considerably. Holders of an RYA yachtmasters certificate can qualify for reductions on marine insurance.
Excursions to demonstrate how a boat is navigated through the harbour in Middlesbrough will provide an opportunity to apply the theory in practice. Extra charges will apply.

The successful learner will develop enough skill to successfully navigate a boat at sea and have an in depth understanding of safety at sea.

Assessment is by 3 tests distributed over the course leading to a certificate from the Royal Yachtmasters Association.
