Course Content

Assessment and Qualification you will achieve: Your will achieve the ACCA qualification by passing all three stages. To become a qualified member you must pass all examination and have 3 years approved practical experience. Exams are held in June and December. Note: Before entering any ACCA examination, students must register with ACCA.
Qualification requirements: Professional Examination Route (PER) The minimum entry requirements for students wishing to register with ACCA under the Professional Examination Route (PER) are: You must be at least 18 years old and meet at least one of the following criteria: 2 A levels and 3 GCSEs (5 separate subjects including English and Maths) CAT Level B (complete) or AAT (UK) Intermediate (complete) BTEC National Certificate (any subjects) or Advanced GNVQ (any subject) NVQ Level3 or 4 (any subject) or Degree (from a recognised institution in any subject) ACCA Certificate Diploma in Accounting and Finance (complete)
For those who are unable to enter via the PER, there are two other methods of entry: Mature Student Entry Route (MSER) For entry to ACCA's Professional qualification via MSER you must be 21 years old. You must also pass papers 1.1 and 1.2 with 2 years from the date of your first eligible exam session. Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) This is ACCA's vocational, open entry introduction to accounting. Applicants who are 16 years or older can complete ACCA's CAT qualification and will be eligible for direct entry to direct entry to Part 2 of ACCA's professional exams.
How long is the course: If you study the course at full time basis, you are expected to complete the course in 3 years. As with other major professional accountancy qualification, ACCA Accounting Qualification is categorised in three stages; and you will be given a certificate for each level completed.
