Access to Higher Education Diploma: Health Science Professions (Level 3)

All units are class based and learning is facilitated by formal lectures, practical group work and ICT interaction. This diploma route is particularly relevant for those wishing to undertake degrees in Nursing or Midwifery. Subjects offered include: Human Biology (core) Social Policy Psychology Sociology More details on combinations and unit content can be discussed at the interview stage. You will develop the academic skills, knowledge and understanding to enable you to progress to University and pursue a professional career of your choice. This course is delivered at our Horsforth Campus and Keighley College. The Diploma is designed to give successful students an alternative entry qualification and route to many Higher Education courses both locally and nationally including nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, radiography, and other health based subjects. If you are aged 19 or over and considering enrolling on a further education course at Level 3 or above, you may be entitled to an Advanced Learner Loan to help with course fees.
