Learn the basics of the cutting-edge animation program. Our introduction will show you the first steps in creating attractive animations that will work even on devices that do not support Flash. This is an ideal primer for visual designers wanting to produce moving content for the web.
About this course
Our goal is for you to understand how to create effective animations for multiple devices.
The course is intended for visual/graphic designers who already have some experience of Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and who wish to produce animations without relying on Flash.
You will need basic PC or Mac skills, including a solid understanding of a computer's operating system (Windows or Mac OS). You will also need to know how to launch a program, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media. Some experience of Creative Cloud programs will be helpful.
After we guide you through the essentials of controlling the Edge Animate environment, we will show you how to bring your designs to life and produce animated content that works on a wide variety of devices, even Flash-less tablets such as iPads. You will learn how to handle keyframes, loops, web fonts, and more as we show you the easy way to get started in making moving graphics for the web.

This 1-day Introduction course will give you the skills you need to produce eye-catching web animations in Adobe Edge Animate.
Edge Animate is a visually driven interactive-design tool that is part of the Creative Cloud. The program allows designers to quickly and easily add animated content to websites. With our help, you will learn how to evolve your designs to fashion results that work even on Flash-less devices such as mobiles and tablets.
We will guide you through the program's interface, and then move on to creating, importing, and animating graphics for the web.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
