Course programme

Ambulance

In order to become an ambulance driver you must first pass the required driving tests in Categories C1 (7.5T) and D1 (mini bus). You must follow the procedures specified in the individual Cat C1 and D1 sections and meet the minimum age restrictions.

At CTTS we offer a combined course on both C1 and D1. The course is conducted over five consecutive days during which the candidate will sit both driving tests. The candidate will train on the C1 for the first three days taking the test on the 3rd. On days 4 and 5 the training will be carried out on the D1 testing on the fifth day.

On passing the tests you will have both a C1 and D1 licence allowing you to apply for the ambulance service.
