Purpose: The course is designed to introduce delegates who have been selected for appointment as Authorised Person Confined Spaces to the requirements of safe working in confined spaces in accordance with the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997, its Approved Code of Practice and the MoD Defence Estates Safety Rules and Procedures - Safe Working in Confined Spaces (Chapter 6). Suitable for: Who will benefit: Persons to be appointed as Authorised Person Confined Spaces employed on the MoD Estate who are obligated to conform to the MoD Health & Safety Manual (JSP 375) and therefore the Safety Rules and Procedures - Safe Working in Confined Spaces contained within Volume 3, ensuring that Safe Systems of Work are implemented, managed and controlled by competent persons.
