This course acts as a foundation course for the APL (Approved Prior Learning) programme and covers the areas including;

Pipework Skills
Basic Gas Appliance Functions
Basic Flueing
Basic Principles of Combustion

This course is designed for those who do not have all of the transferable skills required to undertake the full APL training programme. Once candidates have completed this foundation course they can move on to undertake the APL training programme with confidence that the all of basic skills are in place.
