BA (Hons) European Studies and Italian Combines a Language programme in Italian with core course units in Politics, focusing in particular on international and comparative politics, and on Europe and the European Union. On the Italian side of this programme, you will take courses about the cultures and societies relating to your main language. On the European Studies side, as well as the core course units in politics, you will have an increasingly wide choice of courses in politics, economics and economic history, sociology and social anthropology, and history. The course is designed to equip students with strong analytical skills and an informed understanding of contemporary Europe through the range of subjects studied.
