Course Content
  • Year 1

    In Year 1 you will study both subjects equally. The core units in international business explore global business and politics and a range of concepts relating to understanding and managing people, work and behaviour in organisations. For French, you will take an advanced unit in your language and a unit covering French history, culture and society.

  • Year 2

    In Year 2 you can continue with equal study or choose a major/minor route and so the units you will study depend on the route you have chosen. International business units currently cover topics such as business accounting, business and sustainability, fundamentals of international business, international trading relations of the European Union, learning and development, managing people, and operations management. You will continue to improve your written, oral and listening skills in your chosen language.

  • Year 3

    In your final year you can continue with an equal study or major/minor route.

    The core unit in international business currently covers international business strategy and option units cover topics such as business economics, developing a digital business, international and global marketing, economics and business of the Asia-Pacific region, and North American business and political environment. A wide range of options are open.
