Beekeeping Introduction

It is very practical; you will be working with experienced beekeepers on routine hive inspections and will be involved in handling the bees.

Hive inspections are only possible in good weather; in case of bad weather the session will be held indoors.

It is essential that you wear long trousers and closed shoes; all other equipment will be provided.

There will be no certificate at the end of the 6 sessions, as this is not intended to train beekeepers, but to give you an insight in what is involved, to find out if "it is for you!"
