BEngrt Acute and Critical Care of the Child

This course equips you with the knowledge and skills to assess and manage the acute and critically ill child through supportive, evidence-based care that is sensitive to the psycho-social needs of children, young people and their families. It incorporates a systematic approach to the assessment and recognition of the acutely ill child.

Typically one of the following
• a first degree with honours or professional qualification, recognised as being equivalent to degree standard
• an ordinary degree, foundation degree, higher national diploma or university diploma, accompanied by substantial experience in an appropriate field
