Course programme

Course objective: There is a established view in both mainstream and holistic communities that a lot of human conditions, the most important one being "accelerated ageing", are rooted in the acid-base imbalance. "Alkalosis" and "acidosis" - abnormal conditions of the body being too alkaline or too acidic, are established medical terms. Within the holistic and complementary circles, the concepts of "autointoxication" and "intestinal toxemia", among others, are based on overacidic diets and lifestyle. The raw food theory is also founded on this premise.

The Chi Centre course strives to present a balanced view on the role of acidity and alkalinity in health and disease, and makes a special emphasis on dietary, stress management and spiritual adjustments that may help they body achieve its optimal balance and slow down the ageing process.

Skillset rationale: If you wish to competently advise the clients on the causes of their ill health, you cannot ignore their nutrition, as well as stress level, hydration and exercise. The course will enable you to integrate together these elements of your clients' lifestyle and to help with simple, achievable adjustments that will meet your clients' needs in a more comprehensive way.

After completing the course you will be able to:

  • analyse your clients' diet and identify acid-alkaline imbalances in their nutritional regimes;
  • connect your clients' lifestyle, specifically stress management, hydration and exercise levels, with their possible acid-alkaline imbalances;
  • present to your clients a clear overview of how they can achieve optimal health and explain the effects of acid-alkaline imbalances on their health;
  • design a customised diet and exercise plan to correct these imbalances;
  • give personalised anti-ageing and dietary advice
