Who is this course for?
This course is for people who already hold an intermediate higher education qualification, such as a relevant Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma and who wish to convert this into an honours degree in order to improve career prospects and lead to greater opportunities in the area of sports coaching or development. Students will study psychology, physiology, nutrition, sport performance and examine how performance can be improved, taking into account the science of sport coaching and practical interventions. The intensive route can be completed in one year and three months; the dissertation is completed in the final 3 months. You must have passed a relevant Level 5 qualification such as an HND or Foundation Degree with approved grade profile.
