This programme provides you with an introduction to the world of product design and high-tech engineering, whether this is a component for aerospace, formula 1, mobile phones, computer hardware or your MP3 player.
You will gain practical skills in computer aided design (CAD), conceptual product design and development, model making, rapid prototyping and advanced manufacturing techniques. You will have access to cutting edge technology including state of the art CNC machines, 3D laser scanners and industry standard software packages.

Progression
Progression is to a Level 3 National Diploma in 3D Product Design. Employment opportunities are wide and varied across a range of high tech growth industries.
