About the course The UK’s construction industry contributes approximately % to the country’s Gross Domestic Product, and employs thousands of highly-skilled workers. The techniques and technologies used in the industry are increasingly sophisticated, and this course will equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed for success. You will learn about the latest developments in the construction of sustainable and hi-tech buildings, and develop a wide range of management skills. And the course will help you understand the complexities of government policies and regulations, and how these affect the industry. We use a number of different teaching methods, including work-based learning, and these will enable you to gain experience and develop a portfolio. You will also have the chance to visit exhibitions and seminars led by experts.

About this course
A foundation degree will be of particular interest if you have completed a Modern Apprenticeship, vocational A levels, BTEC National or equivalent. Foundation degrees are also particularly suitable if you want to qualify while working. / entry As a guideline, a typical offer would require you to obtain a UCAS tariff score of between points, based on your level 3 studies. Many students studying for foundation degrees come to us through work-based routes so you can apply for a foundation degree even if you don't have traditional academic qualifications. .
