Information about the course

The course is designed to develop the knowledge of practical plumbing skills of students who wish to work in the Plumbing trade.

Course content

The course will allow you to gain a level 2 qualification in Plumbing.

You will learn:

-working safely

-installing and testing pipe systems and components

-maintaining pipe systems and components

-installing bathroom and kitchen plumbing

-installing heating radiators

-installing drainage and guttering

-installing sheet weatherings

-working with others and customer relations

Assessment

The award is assessed in college workshops and classrooms with regular practical tests and the development of a written portfolio. Towards the end of the course there will be a 30 hour bathroom installation assessment.
