SCQF Level 8 & 9

DESCRIPTION:
This course follows on from the SVQ Level III. It takes the learners to the higher skill level within the joinery trade. The course is run over 11 weeks in a 1 in 3 block pattern.
The learner is required to successfully complete 6 HN units. These units are all practical content with associated drawing and numeracy. The units vary from complex pitched roofs to specialist doors, taking learners onto compound roof bevels and curvature work in doors and windows. Includes complex work not always covered at the place of employment.
