Childrens Care Learning and Development - SVQ Level 2

Description:
A workplace assessed qualification supported by a flexible training programme of approximately 36 weeks. Candidates wishing to undertake this qualification should be employed in the childcare sector in a supported (supervised) role.

Contribute to Positive Relationships | Help to Keep Children Safe | Support Children's Development | Use Support to Develop own practice in Children's Care, Learning and Development | Prepare and Maintain Environments to meet Children's Needs | Support Children's Play and Learning and one Optional Unit.

Entry Requirements:
Entry is normally through sponsorship by an employer. It is recommended that candidates have a minimum of 3 standard grades, one of which should be English at credit level however mature candidates with considerable experience in the sector are also invited to apply.

Qualification and Progression:
SVQ Level 3 Children's Care Learning and Development; HNC Early Education and Childcare or employment as a support worker in a childcare setting.
