Those wishing to progress into employment in the electrical installation industry

We require you to have taken GCSE examinations and to demonstrate a strong interest in electrical installation at interview. Four A-D GCSE grades including Maths, English and Science. Aptitude test, colour blindness test and satisfactory reference.

A one year course covering the basic principles of electrical installation

City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification in Electrical Installation work:

Installation practical and technology

Projects and assignments

Electrical installation theory/technology, practical installation competencies. All work carried out in fully equipped site-simulated conditions. Work experience will be arranged for suitable students.

As well as the Electrical Installation certificate, it is possible to gain additional related qualifications including Key Skills.
